Lions Earn Road Victory In Bridgewater

Four unanswered goals provided the Halifax Lions with a 6-2 road victory over the Bridgewater Lumberjacks Friday evening in Bridgewater.With the teams deadlocked at 2-2 late in the second, Brendan Taylor netted a power-play marker to regain the Halifax lead.
John MacDonald notched an unassisted marker at the 8:11 mark in the third period, Captain Robbie Veriker scored three minutes later and Wayne Bedecki added another power-play goal with just over two minutes left. Ben Clarke and newly-arrived Bradley MacDonald scored 55 seconds apart in the first to round out the Lions’ scoring efforts.
Kody Blois made 32 saves for Halifax (10-10-2-0).
