Halifax Lions Prepare for the Pictou County Weeks Crushers - Round 1 Schedule Confirmed

The Lions Prepare for the First Lions Playoff series in the past few years with a first round match-up with the favored Pictou County Weeks Crushers.
It has been a great week of preparation as the Halifax Lions get ready to face the 2nd seed Pictou County Weeks Crushers in the first playoff series for the franchise in the last few years.The series will start in Pictou on Saturday, March 6th at 7:30 and then shift to the Halifax Forum for game 2 on Monday, March 8th at 7 pm.The rest of the playoff game times and locations will be released on the Lions website in the next couple days.
The Lions have stuck with the current roster through the trade deadline as the get ready to take on the favored Pictou County team.Head Coach/GM troy Ryan knows it is going to take a perfect series in order to give them chance to knock off the Crushers.Coach Ryan said “Pictou has loaded up for this playoff run so they have got to be the favorites going into this series.It is going to take a well structured game in order to give us a chance to win.We will be as prepared as we possibly can be and make sure we leave it all on the ice.” Ryan went on to say “The playoffs will be a fresh start for all teams and we know the bar will be raised this time of year and our team is looking forward to getting started on the road this Saturday night.”
Tickets will be available at the door on Monday night so get there early and enjoy the game.
